The Écuries Hanomar horse breeding centre has a wide range of insemination and embryo transfer services to offer horse breeders, with their outstanding facilities and qualified multidisciplinary team.

The farm is located in the City of Saguenay (Laterrière District) near the Bagotville Airport, thus ensuring fast access to air transportation when needed.

Our Expertise

The forty or so years we spent caring for dairy animals greatly helped us to develop our breeding expertise. There are many similarities with horses and one of the key elements is a good sense of observation, particularly in recognizing when mares are in heat. Several training courses on breeding have added to our expertise.

Our Services

At Écuries Hanomar we offer superior quality horse breeding services. We make every effort to deliver the expected results with qualified staff, professional facilities and, foremost, Canadian Warmblood horses, recognized for their strong genetic potential.

Our facilities are available to horse breeders wanting to make full use of our services with their own horses (stallions and mares).

A dressage competition was held at Domaine Laterrière on June 29, in which Salto (rider, Esther Bouchard) finished first in the training category, Waldèse (rider, Esther Bouchard) won first prize in the reserve category, and Pégase (rider, Stéphanie Boily) took first place in the caprilli category

On July 4-5, at La Martingale, Pégase, ridden by Stéphanie Boily, won first prize in the jumper class category and second place in the open jumper category. The next event will be held at Domaine Laterrière at the end of August, featuring Pégase and Salto.Get ready for the arrival of the foal sired by Salto and borne by Waldèse, projected for August 15 coming. He is, or will be, the fruit of our very first successful embryo transfer.
